🌋 Day 1 — Surabaya / Malang → Bromo Area
Pick-up: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Your adventure begins with a friendly pick-up from your hotel, airport, or train station in Surabaya or Malang.
Meet your experienced local driver and enjoy a scenic drive toward the Bromo area. Along the way, you’ll pass through changing landscapes as East Java gradually transforms from busy city life into peaceful mountain scenery.
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take some time to rest.
Tomorrow starts early, so we recommend having an early dinner and getting a good night’s sleep.

🌄 Day 2 — Bromo Sunrise → Bondowoso Area
Start: Around 02:00 AM
Today is the highlight of your Bromo adventure.
Wake up early and get ready for a 4WD Jeep adventure through the darkness toward the sunrise viewpoint. The early start may be challenging, but watching the first light appear over the volcanic landscape is an experience worth waking up for.
At the viewpoint, watch the sky slowly change color as the sun rises above the misty horizon. On a clear morning, you can enjoy breathtaking views of:
- Mount Bromo
- Mount Semeru, the highest mountain in Java
- Mount Batok
- The vast Sea of Sand
- The surrounding volcanic landscape
After sunrise, continue by Jeep across the spectacular Sea of Sand toward Mount Bromo.
From the parking area, you can choose to walk or rent a horse for part of the journey toward the crater. Continue on foot up the stairs to the crater rim, where you can look into the active volcanic crater and feel the raw energy of Bromo.
Before leaving the caldera, take a moment to visit Luhur Poten Temple, a sacred Hindu temple standing quietly beneath the surrounding volcanic peaks.
After exploring Bromo, return to the hotel for a well-deserved traditional Indonesian breakfast and some time to freshen up.
Around late morning, we continue our journey eastward toward Bondowoso. Enjoy the changing scenery along the way, with a lunch stop at a local restaurant.
Arrive at your hotel in the Bondowoso area in the afternoon or evening, depending on road and traffic conditions.
Take the evening to rest, because another unforgettable adventure awaits tonight.

🔥 Day 3 — Ijen Blue Fire → Final Drop-Off
Pick-up: Around 11:30 PM
Tonight, we head into the mountains for one of East Java’s most extraordinary natural experiences.
Your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Paltuding, the starting point of the Ijen Crater trek.
From Paltuding, begin your early-morning hike toward the crater.
The trek is approximately 3.5 km one way, with a steady uphill section. Take your time, walk at your own pace, and don’t hesitate to ask your guide for a short break whenever you need one.
If conditions allow and access to the blue fire area is open, continue toward the lower part of the crater to witness the famous Ijen Blue Fire.
The electric-blue flames are created by burning sulfur gases and are a rare natural phenomenon found in only a handful of places around the world.
Please note that Blue Fire visibility and access depend on weather, volcanic activity, safety regulations, and instructions from the local authorities. Your safety always comes first.
After experiencing the Blue Fire, return toward the crater rim and take in the spectacular scenery of the Ijen caldera.
From the viewpoint, you can see:
- The turquoise-colored acidic crater lake
- Dramatic volcanic cliffs
- Sulfur mining activity
- The surrounding Ijen Plateau
- Sunrise over the mountains
After enjoying the crater, begin the descent back to Paltuding.
Once you arrive at the parking area, your driver will be ready to continue the journey to your requested final destination.

This tour involves very early mornings, long driving hours, and mountain trekking.
The Ijen trek is approximately 3.5 km each way, with an uphill section that can feel challenging, especially after traveling through the night.
You don’t need to be an athlete, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
Our guides are happy to walk at a comfortable pace and provide assistance along the way. There is no need to rush — take your time and enjoy the experience.

The Ijen Blue Fire is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.
Visibility and access may change depending on volcanic activity, weather conditions, gas levels, and local safety regulations.
If authorities temporarily restrict access to the Blue Fire area, we will follow their instructions and prioritize your safety.
Weather
Mountain weather can change quickly. Sunrise visibility, trekking conditions, and road conditions may be affected by rain, fog, wind, or other weather conditions.
Travel Time
This is an adventure tour, and some journeys between destinations can take several hours. Traffic and road conditions may also affect arrival times.
We recommend keeping your schedule flexible, especially if you have a flight or other important transportation after the tour.
